"`'`'~"~`''`~'``'`'`''` Capturing the solitude & longing of a life spent indoors, "Interior Vista" leans on soundtrack pads, bell tones, pianos, disco loops and field recordings of the everyday activities pursued around Tallahassee and within the French Press Lounge c. 2015. "~"``'`'"~`'~~'`While wax sourced boogie percussion provide forward momentum to joints like "Sentimental" & "Traveller's Lid," the rhythms are not in a hurry, encouraging a laid-back listening experience without skimping on the bass. "`'``'~'`'`~'`""~~'`'`'`'~"~' Beans crunching, fields rustlin', the sound of rain sparking through the kitchen door and a coupla of inland seagulls can be heard beneath the wash of mid-frequencies "`'`"~ Lush orchestral strings, MIDI flute & sax, plastic-y drum kits and a sense of wistfulness all settle in their place throughout the journey, a gentle para-glide down towards the pixel-only island seen across the parking lot through the vapor hanging in the open studio window.
